Motorway route to Lake Como with a stop at a motorway restaurant for free breakfast. We will arrive in Switzerland in the elegant town of Locarno located in the Canton of Ticino, protected by a suggestive scenery of the Alps in a splendid position on Lake Maggiore and considered, for its typically Mediterranean climate, the hottest place in Switzerland. We will visit the exhibition set up in the Visconti Castle on the occasion of the Camellia Festival, an important European event second only to the initiatives proposed in Japan, the birthplace of this enchanting flower. More than 300 varieties of this flower will be beautifully arranged by expert gardeners and accompanied by side events, cultural moments, a flower and book market. Free lunch in the Piazza Grande, overlooked by noble palaces, the characteristic alleys of the historic center. We will walk along the Walk of Fame where the artists who walked the stage of "Moon & Stars" have left their mark. In the afternoon we will visit the Camellia Park, a real work of art for its high landscape value and for its precious botanical contents: a period of 9 months of flowering, more than 850 nomenclated camellias planted, 70 camellias still to identify, an amphitheater with granite blocks to better enjoy the view of the park, all arranged in a labyrinthine path where you can get lost admiring these wonders of nature. At the end of the visits we will leave for the return journey with an appropriate stop at the motorway restaurant and arrival in the evening.
