1st DAY SALUZZO
Meeting of the participants in Saluzzo, dinner and overnight stay.
2nd DAY SALUZZO - ROAD OF CANNONS - ELVA
Breakfast. It is a classic itinerary, much loved, which develops along the entire ridge between the Maira and Varaita valleys, an exciting bike tour that offers breathtaking views without particular technical difficulties, but demanding both for the difference in height and for the length.
The start is on asphalt on the Colletta di Rossana from which the famous Strada dei Cannoni departs until you reach a comfortable dirt road at high altitude. You reach the Colle della Liretta, touch the Sanctuary of Valmala and finally reach the Colle del Birrone; the breathtaking views repay the effort made, up to Colle di Sampeyre from whose top you can enjoy the best view of the Monviso. Descent to Elva, the small Occitan alpine village, famous for the extraordinary tour of frescoes in the parish church and the curious hair museum. Dinner and overnight.

3rd DAY ELVA - PONTECHIANALE / CASTELDELFINO
Breakfast. We go up the ridge and reached the top we continue straight on the panoramic dirt military road (Strada dei Cannoni) which with an ups / downs along the hillside leads to Colle della Bicocca (2,287 m) under the slopes of the imposing Pelvo d'Elva. From the hill we take the obvious and very amusing GTA path that descends into the Bellino Valley. Single track is a lot of fun and varied; numerous technical passages first on a stony ground and then in the undergrowth. Stop at the Chiesa hamlet at 1532 m above sea level, completely covered in stone and famous for its numerous sundials. We continue on our tour on the Battagliola hill, descent to the Pontechianale lake. Dinner and overnight stay in Pontechianale or Casteldelfino.

4th DAY CASTELDELFINO / SAMPEYRE - PAESANA
Breakfast. Departure to discover the Po Valley: we cycle uphill, touching the beautiful stone villages to the top of Colle del Prete (1714 m), a slight slope downhill to the Gilba at 1524 m. From here starts the steep downhill path (portage required) to the Bertorello Refuge: descent on dirt road and then on asphalt to Paesana. Dinner and overnight.

5th DAY PAESANA - INFERNOTTO - BARGE
Breakfast. We leave the Po Valley: our tour begins with a climb of about 5 km, made up of a series of hairpin bends connected by straight ramps, surrounded by an environment that gradually becomes more and more interesting with exciting views. The route is pleasant and develops past ancient villages, through birch woods and the scent of alpine essences. Small detour to the Pian del Lupo clearing at an altitude of 1335 m, an incredible panoramic point. The descent begins along bends with a rather significant slope, you quickly lose altitude until you reach the Ula Bridge: from this point a beautiful ring begins in the Infernotto Valley through abandoned villages and quarries: the highest point is Bric Brusella, at an altitude of 1368m . From here we begin the alternating descent with slight plateaus which, passing by the Turlo pylon and Pianetta hamlet, takes us to Barge.
Dinner and overnight stay (370m).

6th DAY BARGE - MONTEBRACCO - SALUZZO
Breakfast. From the center of Barge follow the signs for Bike Monviso on asphalt, pedal towards Envie and always on asphalt, continue to descend gradually in front of Monte Bracco; Monte Bracco is the great protagonist of this day, climbs, continuous ups and downs alternating with short slight plateaus that cross the whole wild east side. The bottom improves and the track does not lose interest for the continuous curves, the short climbs and the small descents, as well as for the presence of some imposing walls overlooking the road, including Rocca Bert, one of the most important climbing walls in the Saluzzo area. With a quick descent, first between orchards and then between houses, you reach the center of Envie (340 m); in Revello, the fruit capital, we pass the beautiful castle with tower and park and continue to Saluzzo, the ancient capital of the Marquisate with its incredible historic center.
Farewell dinner and overnight stay.
