Trekking panoramico nella valle in cui si abbracciano Alpi Cozie e Alpi Marittime

Antica via di transito di uomini ed eserciti da e verso la Francia, la Valle Stura incanta per i suoi paesaggi, i piccoli paesi coi tozzi campanili duecenteschi, le imponenti fortificazioni, i ripari preistorici, le borgate di pietra, i pendii scoscesi, le creste rocciose, i boschi di conifere.

PROGRAMMA
Gita transfrontaliera che dalla splendido borgo di Ferriere valica il confine francese. Escursione poco difficile ma di una certa lunghezza, attraverseremo una bella piana pascoliva e poi un tratto di pietraia per giungere al confine presso Colle del Ferro. Dopo pochi minuti potremo godere di una impareggiabile vista sull'Arc de Tortisse e sui Laghi di Vens. Rientro sull’itinerario di salita.

DEPARTURE / MEETING: Bersezio, where we will compact the cars and proceed to Ferriere (5 minutes journey).

Equipment: Trekking boots (highly recommended) or shoes with sculpted soles. A k-way in your backpack against bad weather and wind at high altitude. A liter of water (or bottle, we will find a fountain along the way), packed lunch.
