Arrampicata, via ferrata e canyoning: un viaggio nel mondo verticale.
PROGRAM
1st day: arrival of participants by h. 18 at the agritourism reserved in Limone Piemonte or Vernante (or similar) and meeting with the mountain guide: check of individual clothing and equipment (delivery of equipment if any participant does not have it), presentation of the detailed program. Typical dinner and overnight stay.
2nd day:
breakfast at h. 8 and meeting with the guide at h. 9. Transfer by own car to Vernante at the Cournalet equipped rock face; climbing school with learning of the use of ropes, safety techniques, knots, rock climbing technique and abseiling (the degree of difficulty of the climbs will be adapted to the abilities of the participants). Packed lunch to be paid by the participants, return to the farmhouse / hotel in the late afternoon, typical dinner and overnight stay.
3rd day:
after breakfast, at h. 9, departure for the splendid Roya Valley in France, towards Breil from where you reach the Maglia Canyon. Short hike to reach the gorges. Beginning of the descent along the spectacular path of the stream that alternates waterfalls - which can be overcome by abseiling -, with deep pools of crystalline water in which you dive to heights of at least 8/10 meters (alternatively there is the possibility of abseil abseil). Packed lunch at the expense of the participant. Return to the farmhouse / hotel, dinner and overnight stay. For those who wish, after dinner in Limone Piemonte, a lively ski resort a few kilometers from the French border.
4th day: breakfast at h. 7.30, meeting with the guide and departure at h. 8.00 to Tenda (Roya Valley). Excursion on a via ferrata that alternates athletic stretches of climbing on specially fixed metal steps, with aerial "tyrolean" crossings on gorges that separate vertical rocky walls from each other, with the passage in curious places such as the Hermit's Cave embedded between overhangs. Packed lunch to be paid for by the participant. Return in the afternoon and end of services.

LA VAL ROYA
a valle Roya occupa per un terzo il territorio italiano e per due terzi quello francese. Il territorio montano più spettacolare dell’intera vallata, quindi anche più frequentato, è il vallone delle Meraviglie, il cui nome è perfettamente azzeccato. Sul territorio, circondato da splendidi laghi alpini, sono presenti innumerevoli incisioni rupestri preistoriche. Stupendi sono gli itinerari che si possono effettuare al suo interno che il più delle volte sono diretti alla testata nord chiusa dalle cime Gelas (3143 m), Clapier (3045 m) e Rocca dell’Abisso (2755 m).
